Stefan Karlsson works as an artist, curator, and project manager for self-organized art projects and within the psychiatric care sector, often on commission for organizations, municipalities, and regions. The exhibitions FETT, Psykiatrins Monument (Monument to Psychiatry), and Drömmarnas Monument (Monument to Dreams) are major, time-intensive, and self-organized collective art projects. The City of Gothenburg and the Västra Götaland Region are among the entities that frequently commission his work or provide funding. Stefan is currently working on a psychogeographic-analytical art project in the Bergsjön district of Gothenburg. He is painting more than ever; at the time of writing, his output has reached several hundred paintings, some of which are featured on this site.
